I used a DSLR camera with a lens of 18-55 to shoot a series of proper studio lighting. My shutter speed was set at 1/15 and my aperture was set at F5.  My first photo has a 2 to 1 ratio of lighting making it the perfect lighting. The second photo has a shadow on the side of Johnny's face making it fairly dark on that side but you can still see his face. The last photo is like the second one but there is also a light on the other side of his face making it a larger contrast compared to other darker side.
