My aperture was set at F22, my shutter speed was set at 30”, with an 18-55mm lens on a DSLR camera. I chose to do a butterfly because I think they have a very unique and distinct shape that is very evident while painting with light. I also chose to do a butterfly as opposed to any other animal because they symbolize life, hope and change which is very meaningful to me. I want people to look at my photograph and notice these attributes about it and associate it with life and moving forward and entering a new part of your life and accepting change.
